Introduction

A friend of mine had told me how she changed the recipe for green chili stew when she ran out of the traditional pork. I tried it and while it's not the same, it's not bad either :)

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

1 lb extra lean ground beef
1 can petite diced tomatoes (14.5)
    1 can chicken broth (14.5)
1 can Herdez Salsa Verde (7 oz)
1 can Old El Paso Green Enchilida Sauce (10oz)
1 can diced green chilis (4 oz)
    1 cup water
    1 tsp chopped garlic
    1/2 cup chopped onion

Directions

Brown ground beef and drain. Place back in pan with onion and garlic. Stir and allow the onion to soften. Add the remaining ingredients. Simmer until the onion is soft. This could be placed in a crock pot as well.

Estimating approx 8 - 1 cup servings
Sorry it's not exact as I fixed it last night and didn't measure what I had. I had 1 cup and was happy with that portion, but others had more so it's hard to be exact on the number of servings.

I hope this makes sense and I entered everything correctly. This is my first recipe I submitted.
