Ingredients

    .5 cup dry Oatmeal, uncooked, Quaker Old Fashioned Rolled Oats,
    0.75 cup Soy milk Wegmans Organic (by LIANE2)
    9 gram(s) Bob's Red Mill - Chia seeds - 1Tbsp=13g
    0.5 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) Banana, mashed/chopped
    0.33 serving Maple Grove Farms 100% Pure Maple Syrup 1 Tbspn
    0.5 tsp Cinnamon, ground
    0.25 tsp Nutmeg, ground
    0.5 serving Walnuts, chopped, Southern Grove - 1/4 C

Tips

For added richness, add 2 TBSP yogurt when making. You heat the oatmeal in a microwave if you prefer it warm. I will have it over 2 mornings.


Directions

1. Add oats, soy milk, chia seeds and maple syrup together in a mason jar, resealable container or bowl. Mix.
2. Add banana, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix.
3. Seal and chill for at least 4 hrs or overnight.
4. Serve with extra soy milk if desired. Top with nuts (and sliced bananas - not in calorie count)

Serving Size: makes 2 2-cup servings
