Introduction

My friend Lisa loves these tuna burgers and so do I! The hardest part of preparing these burgers is crushing the crackers, so to save time you can buy cracker crumbs. Ingredients

    1 can tuna, drained
    3 Tbsp light mayo
    ~ 1 sleeve saltine crackers
Dill, to taste (Lemon dilly dip mix works great)
    Oregano, to taste
    Salt and pepper, to taste
    Vegetable oil

Directions

1.Crush crackers to make fine crumbs.

2.In a bowl, flake tuna and stir in about half the cracker crumbs, mayo, dill, oregano, and salt and pepper. Mix well. The mixture should be quite dry but still stick together.

3.Place remaining crumbs in flat bowl or plate. Shape the tuna mixture into 2 patties. Press into the crackers crumbs to coat evenly.

4.Heat oil in frying pan, and cook patties until browned on each side, about 3 – 5 minutes per side.

5.Serve on hamburger bun.
