Introduction

Ingredients

    1 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery, raw
    0.50 cup, chopped Onions, raw
    1 cup *lentils, great value dried
    2 tsp Better that Boullion vegtable broth (by THERESEMB1)
    1 cup, chopped Carrots, raw

Tips

before cooking the onion you can sautee it. i use a little of the broth but you can use oil if you want.


Directions

make the base and add two cups of water
add onion, celery, carrot, lentils, spices, and bay leaf
bring to boil. reduce heat and add lid, simmer about 30-45 min stirring occaionally
remove bay leaf
add lemon juice (if using)
serve
