Ingredients
-
3 cup Whole Wheat Flour
1/4 cup Sucralose (like Splenda)
1 tbsp Baking Powder
.5 tsp Salt
1 can or bottle (12 fl oz) Regular Beer
1 tbsp Butter, unsalted (use Olive Oil if prefer)
Tips
The butter is optional - you can use non-stick on the pan or Olive Oil. I have seen folks add garlic powder, rosemary, or italian seasonings to add some extra flavor.
Directions
1- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, and prepare a 9x5 loaf pan with butter (I use wax paper to smear the butter) or use non stick spray.
2- Combine flour, sucralose, baking powder, and salt in large bowl, whisk to blend. Pour beer over and mix ingredients until all is evenly mixed.
3- Place dough in prepared pan. Melt any remaining butter and drizzle on top of loaf.
4- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
5- Remove from oven and let sit in the pan for 5 minutes, then remove to a wire rack to finish cooling.
