Ingredients

    6 cup Quaker Oats Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats
    1.5 cup, chopped Macadamia Nuts
    0.75 cup, sliced/flaked Almonds
    4 tbsp Shredded Coconut Unsweetened
    0.35 cup Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened
    0.75 cup Coconut Oil (I use a premium quality liquid)
    0.35 cup, packed Brown Sugar
    3 tbsp Honey (optional)
    0.75 cup Cranberries, dried, sweetened (craisins)
    0.2 cup Dried Cherries Tart Montmorency cherries 1/3 cup serving
    90 gram(s) green & black - milk chocolate (optional)

Tips

Great as a yoghurt topping!


Directions

Mix the oats, nuts and coconut in a large bowl.
Mix the cocoa, brown sugar and coconut oil in a small bowl.
Pour the cocoa mixture into the large bowl and mix well (until all dry ingredients have some of the cocoa mixture on them).
Spread mix onto 2 large baking sheets (line with baking paper if you wish).
Cook at 150 degrees C for 10 minutes. Stir. Cook for another 10 minutes and stir. Drizzle honey over if you are using it. Cook for a final 10 minutes (making 30 in total) and stir.
Cool on trays.
When cool, sprinkle chopped dried fruit and finely chopped chocolate (if using) over each tray.
Store in an air tight container.
One serve is half a cup.
