16.0 oz Ground beef, lean
1.0 cup Minute Rice Instant White Rice (1/2 Cup Dry = 1 Cup Prepared)
1.0 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
0.34 cup Milk, 1%
2.0 tbsp Ketchup, Heinz
0.5 tsp onion salt
0.5 tsp Garlic Salt
0.5 tsp Pepper, black
3.0 cup Tomato Sauce, Hunts Sauce
1.5 cup Cambell's Condensed Tomato Soup
6.0 tbsp Ketchup, Heinz
1.25 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
16.0 leaf, large Cabbage, fresh
2.0 cup, chopped Cabbage, fresh
Directions
Combine raw beef, cooked rice, egg, milk, ketchup and spices. Clean cabbage, keeping 16 while leaves to wrap around meat mixture. Chop 2 cups of cabbage. Mix tomato sauce, soup (straight from the can, not cooked), ketchup and additional salt and pepper, if desired. Cover bottom of 9" x 12" pan or roaster with sauce. Roll meat into 16 log shapes and wrap inside cabbage leaves. Add chopped cabbage to remaining sauce and pour over stuffed cabbages. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 - 75 minutes or until meat is fully cooked.
