Introduction
This is super easy blueberry dessert I learned from my sister-in-law who learned it from a friend of hers. They call simply call it "blueberry stuff". It is great for summer cookouts or picnics. I've also experimented by substituting the blueberries with strawberry pie filling, peaches, and apples. All were good, but everyone agrees blueberry is the best. Ingredients
-
- One can of blueberries in light syrup
- One can of blueberry pie filling & topping
- One box of yellow cake mix
- One stick of butter, unsalted
Directions
Makes about ten 5 oz. servings.
Preheat oven to 325. Mix together blueberries and pie filling in a 9X12X2 baking dish. Sprinkle cake mix on top of blueberry mixture. Put small pats of butter on top until cake mix is nearly covered (so that when the butter melts, all of the cake mix will get moistened). Bake for about 25-30 minutes until cake mix is golden brown. Tastes best when served hot!
