Introduction

I modified this recipe to use skim milk instead of cream. I also substituted Splenda for sugar. This is a great healthy sweet treat that even my kids enjoy. This is more like an "ice milk." For a more traditional ice cream-use heavy cream (you'll be adding fat, of course!) You can also change the frozen fruit to get a variety of flavors. Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    3 cups frozen mixed berries (or frozen fruit of your choice)
    2/3 to 1 c. skim milk
    1/2 c. Splenda

Directions

Put all ingredients in food processor or blender. Blend for 5 minutes. Serve immediately as a softer ice cream, or freeze for harder ice cream. Can store in freezer for up to a week.
