Introduction

This has fantasic flavor, easy to prepare and can be served as a side or over some whole weat pasta. This has fantasic flavor, easy to prepare and can be served as a side or over some whole weat pasta.

Ingredients

    Red Ripe Tomatoes, 2 beefsteak
    Mozzarella Cheese, part skim milk, 1 oz
    Feta Cheese 1/2 oz
    Bread crumbs 1/2 cup
    Basil, 2 tbsp fresh diced
    Parmesan Cheese, grated, 2 tbsp
    Mrs. Dash garlic and herb 1/2 tbs

Directions

Core tomatoes and slice in half. Lay cut side up in small glas cassarole dish. Sprinkle with Mrs. Dash, bread crumbs, feta cheese and mozz cheese. Last top with the fresh basil. Set on grill and cook for about 10 min until cheese is melted or cook in oven on 350 for about 10 min.

    I added crushed rosemary, thyme, garlic powder, and black pepper instead of Mrs. Dash's...also gluten free cracker/bread crumbs...also spritzed the caserole dish w/olive oil spray to prevent sticking...soooo good! Thanks! - 9/9/08
