Ingredients

* Olive Oil, .25 cup
* Onions, raw, 2 large
* Lentils, 1 cup
* Garlic, 4 cloves
* Curry powder, 18 tbsp
* *Cumin seed, 2 tsp
* Pepper, red or cayenne, .5 tsp
* Canned Tomatoes, 3.5 cup
* *Chick Peas, 2 cup
* Beans, red kidney, 2 cup
* Beans, black, 1 cup
* Raisins, 1 cup, packed
Directions
Cover lentils in water on stove and boil gently while remaining ingredients are prepared (15-20minutes).
Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat, and cook the onion until tender. Mix in the garlic, and season with curry powder, cumin, and cayenne pepper. Cook and stir 2 minutes. Stir in the tomatoes, garbanzo beans, kidney beans, black beans, and raisins. Season with salt and pepper. Reduce heat to low, and simmer at least 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
