    1 t. sesame oil
    14- or 15- oz. can organic black beans, rinsed and drained
    1 T. minced fresh garlic
    1/3 c. sliced light extra firm tofu
    2 t. grated fresh ginger
    3 T. hoisin sauce


Heat oil in a nonstick skillet. Add beans and garlic; stir-fry 2 minutes. Add tofu and ginger; cook, stirring frequently, 2 minutes. Stir in hoisin sauce. Serve over cooked organic brown rice.

  • This was my first tofu dish and was surprisingly delicious and easy to make. We've made it with fried rice and with brown rice; and of course, the fried rice tastes best. - 12/28/08
