Number of Servings: 4


    1 lb beef stew meat
    1 bay leaf
    2 large potatoes, diced
    1 cup carrots, diced
    2/3 cup cabbage cut up
    1 can diced tomatoes
    1/4 cup rice
    Salt and pepper to taste


Put stew meat, bay leaf and some water in a pressure cooker. Bring up pressure. Cook for 20 minutes.
Let pressure out, open and add remaining ingredients. Bring up to pressure again for 5 minutes.
Serve with hot bread, or crackers and cheese.
Can be made on the stove or in a crock pot. Just cook meat until tender, then add vegetables and cook till done.
