This recipe is simple to make and pretty healthy if you leave out the bacon. Combined together, it may not sound good, but this recipe is a family favorite and is very tasty. Ingredients

    1 pound Ground Turkey
    1 cup Rice (uncooked)
    1 can Yellow Corn (undrained)
    1 can Tomato Sauce
    1/4 cup Onion (chopped)
    1/2 Green Pepper (chopped)
    3 Strips Bacon (optional)
    Garlic Powder and Black Ground Pepper (to taste)

Directions

Brown ground turkey with spices. Add onion and green pepper and simmer until vegetables are cooked. Once complete, place in casserole dish along with rice, corn and tomato sauce. If using bacon, place strips on top of everything. Cover and cook in the microwave on high for 15 minutes, stirring once halfway through.
