Introduction

This is a Hungry Girl Recipe... The original recipe does have cinnamon in it, which I included... but I actually do prefer it without the cinnamon. The flavors get too complicated. It's really tasty! Ingredients

1/3 Cup Regular Oats (not instant)
1 Packet of 25-calorie Diet Hot Cocoa Mix
    1/2 Medium-Sized Banana
    1/8 Tsp Cinnamon
    1 Splenda Packet
    Dash of Salt

Directions

Pour cocoa mix into a glass with cinnamon, sweetener and salt. Add 1/4 cup of hot water, and stir thoroughly. Once cocoa mix has dissolved, add 1/4 cup of cold water and stir. Place mixture in the fridge to chill. (Make sure it is cold, or oatmeal will bubble over when cooking!) When ready, combine with mashed banana and oats in a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl, and mix well. Microwave dish for 2 1/2 - 3 minutes (depending on how thick you like your oatmeal). Give it a stir, and then allow oatmeal to cool and thicken. Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing this recipe. I will be trying it out this week-- I like oatmeal, but don't love oatmeal. I DO love chocolate though, so this should greatly improve my desire to eat more oatmeal. Congrats on the weight loss and you look great!!! - 11/29/08

    Incredible!
I generally don't like oatmeal, but this stuff is great. I'll often add a tablespoon or two of PB2. Frozen bananas work great, too. - 1/8/12
