Introduction
This is a fantastic recipe! Everyone who tries it wants the recipe.NOTE: I do not add salt though the recipe calls for it. I also use half the sugar the recipe asks for. Still delicious! I also add mushrooms to mine though not listed. This is a fantastic recipe! Everyone who tries it wants the recipe.

Ingredients
-
1 pound of either pork or beef (the pork comes out a little more tender than the beef though you can use either)
1/4 cup cooking oil
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 cups of chopped celery
1 28oz. can of LA CHOY Chop Suey Vegetables (or any Chinese Vegetables), drained
1 can Bamboo Shoots
2 tsp. sugar
2 cups water
5 Tbsp. corn starch
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup LA CHOY Lite Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp. Bead Molasses
Directions
Heat the cooking oil, salt & pepper. Add the celery & meat. Cook for about 5 minutes.
Then add sugar, 2 cups of water, drained chop suey vegetables, bamboo shoots & soy sauce. Cook for 10 minutes.
On the side, blend cold water & corn starch. When well-blended mix in with meat & vegetables. Add bead molasses & cook for 20 minutes.
This chop suey is great over rice. I usually use brown rice.
