1 bag pinto beans soaked overnight and put on stove top or crock pot all day until done.
    1/2 large sweet potato diced
    1 can diced tomotoes
    1 green chili pepper
1 can corn or black beans
    1 onion
add the following spices to taste: cumin, cinnamon, pepper, chili powder, cayenne pepper, garlic. add dashes at a time and once the spices have had a chance to simmer go back and retaste adding more then if need be.

Directions

This will fill a large crockpot. Serving size is one cup 93 calories. Great winter filler. Remember to drink a glass of water prior to eating. Eat a serving and rest for 20 minutes. Sometimes I like to have a cup of this soup and have a sandwich or salad to go along with it. But there are times I will eat two cups of this chili and call it a meal.
