    Tate & Lyle Golden syrup (2 Tbsp)
    margerine or low fat spread (2 Tbsp)
    Porridge oats
    (Feel free to add, dried fruit, nuts, choc chips to the mix if you like! It's very versatile!)


Melt the spread and the syrup in a sauce pan on a low heat until it is totally liquid.
Then add the oats (and anything else you fancy lol) until the mixture covers it all equally.
Then pour out into a medium size cake dish and bake for between 15-20 minutes on gas mark 5.
(until in looks done)
Take it out, and score the top into chocolate bar size portions while still warm. (approx 8 - 10 servings)
Leave to cool and enjoy!
