Introduction

This hearty soup has beans, ham, pork, tomatoes and green chiles. I had some cabbage that needed to be eaten and so...... I also added a little extra black beans and broth.

Ingredients

    -8 c shredded cabbage
    -1 12 oz can Celebrity canned ham, diced
    -4 oz diced green chiles
    -3 1/3 c Fit and Active 99% fat free low sodium chicken broth (Aldi)
    -2 1/8 c drained and rinsed black beans (1 can plus 3/8c)
    -1 can red bean undrained about 15 oz
    -1 can diced tomatoes 14.5 oz
    -1 can Stokes Green Chile with Pork

Directions

Mix all ingredients in a large pot and bring to a boil. Then reduce heat to simmer and cook for 30 minutes.

Makes 13.5 one cup servings.
