Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Near East Taboule Wheat Salad (5.25 ounce)
    Add: 1 cup Boiling Water
    1/3 cup Olive Oil
    2 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
    Slice and dice: 1/2 cucumber (leave the peel on)
    2 medium to large Tomatoes (4 Romas)
    1 bunch Green Onions (up to 3" from tops)
    1 bunch Parsley (very fine down to stems)

Directions

Begin with the box of Dry Ingredients, Near East Taboule Wheat Salad Mix (5.25 oz. size), this includes a spice packet. Place in large bowl.
Add: 1 cup Boiling Water
1/3 cup Olive Oil
2 Tbsp. Lemon Juice

Stir and let soak 30-40 minutes. Chilling in fridge (or freezer on ice 10 min. 15-20 minutes fridge while cutting up the veggies (already chilled).

Slice and dice: 1/2 cucumber (leave the peel on)
2 medium to large Tomatoes (4 Romas)
1 bunch Green Onions (up to 3" from tops)
1 bunch Parsley (very fine down to stems)

Toss and add to chillled, soaked wheat mixture, sprinkling with "Vege-Sal," Seasoning Salt, and optional Garlic Salt (or 1 Tbsp. minced garlic).

Serve stuffed in Wheat 'N Honey Pita Bread with extra salad on the side, "Vege-Sal" to taste, and lots of Black Olives! (sliced can be tossed in).

Suggested Garnish for Platter: Surround edges of wheat salad with Hard-Boiled Eggs and Tomato Wedges, Sprigs of Parsley and more Black Olives.
