Introduction
I got this marinade from The 30 Day Gourmet book and cut out the ginger. I also used unsweetened pineapple juice and fat free italian dressing. Their version of Lite was 299 calories and 15 g of fat so I guess the pineapple juice really helps. This can be frozen as well. Ingredients
-
-6 2.5 oz pork loin boneless chops
-16 oz unsweetened pineapple juice ( you can drain it from canned pineapple or buy the juice in the cans)
-1/2 c low sodium soy sauce like Kikkoman
-1/2 t minced garlic
-1/3 c fat free italian dressing
Directions
Combine all marinade ingredients and pour over pork chops either in a bag or container. If you wish to eat them that night then just put them in the fridge and let them marinate 8 hrs or overnight. Otherwise, label the container and freeze.
When you defrost AND/OR are ready to cook DISCARD THE MARINADE. Grill, broil or pan fry the chops until browned on both sides and no longer pink in the center.
Makes 6 servings.
Enjoy!
