I made the Splenda version today, since I didn’t have cream cheese on hand. Butter instead of Crisco, 1 cup Splenda, and I used lemon extract instead of almond (1/4 tsp). A nice light lemon cookie. 🙂 I’d like to try this version, though. - 2/3/18

    Incredible!
These sound really good, I love Anise Spritz Cookies for Christmas, you may have just saved me.
One question, can you use low fat or fat free cream cheese?

I made mine with the regular cream cheese, but you could definitely try lowfat/nonfat cream cheese!
