Introduction

I like alot of meat in my chili. You can eliminate either the turkey or the beef, or you can use less of each.

I also like my chili very mild. You will likely want to add chili powder, hot sauce, or other spices.

Ingredients

    1 pound extra lean ground beef
    1.25 pound 97% lean ground turkey
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 red bell pepper, chopped
    1 can diced tomatoes with Zesty Green Chiles
    1 can diced tomatoes, no salt added
    1 can tomato sauce, no salt added
    3 cans kidney beans

Directions

1. Brown beef and turkey with onion and pepper. Place in crock pot.

2.Pour all other ingredients over meat mixture and mix well.

3. Cook on high 4 hours.

Serve with shredded cheese (not included in nutritional information).

Makes about 10 1 cup servings
