Introduction

On a cold work day this is a nice and easy recipe!!! It also taste great!!!!! On a cold work day this is a nice and easy recipe!!! It also taste great!!!!!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 lb ground turkey
    1 cup chopped onions
    1 can kidney beans
    1 can northern beans
    1 can tomatoes (petite diced)
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    1 cup chopped celery
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 pkg. chili seasonings
    2 T. sugar
    salt & pepper to taste

Directions

Brown meat in large skillet. Add celery, onion and bell pepper, cook until almost done. Drain and place in crock-pot. Add remaining ingredients to crock-pot and stir to mix. Cook 3 to 4 hours, until done. Cook on low. (ALSO CAN BE COOKED ON STOVE)

Makes 6 servings

    I made this for an open house for a housewarming. I made a triple batch. It was highly praised even I like it &I typically am not a chili fan. Since I was making so made 1 batch reg and the other two i used all low sodium beans & seasoning. I also added a handful of mushrooms to use them up. - 10/23/13

    I made a triple batch yesterday at a BBQ for 38 people. Even thought it was a hot day, it still sold out and I had many requests for the recipe. Always a big hit!! - 6/7/10

    I am eating it right now. I chopped up all the ingredients last night and browned the turkey which I was very skeptical of..I don't do ground turkey..but it is DELICIOUS! I think my family is going to love dinner tonight. - 2/10/09
