Introduction

3 Lbs. Ground Beef, Lean
1 Lb. Corn, Frozen and Warmed
Sweet Potato, Betty Crocker Instant 2 Packs
1 Packet Brown Gravy Prepared
3 Lbs. Ground Beef, Lean
1 Lb. Corn, Frozen and Warmed
Sweet Potato, Betty Crocker Instant 2 Packs
1 Packet Brown Gravy Prepared

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    3 lbs. Ground Beef, Lean and Browned, Rinsed
    1 Lb. Corn, Frozen and Warmed
    Sweet Potato, Better Crocker Instant 2 Packs
    1 Packet Brown Gravy Prepared w 1 Cup Water.

Directions

12 servings, more depending on baking dish.

Brown Beef, drain and rinse. Line bottom of baking pan with cooked ground beef.
Prepare Brown Gravy and sprinkle over Beef in bottom of Pan.
Layer corn, after warming, over layer of ground Beef and Gravy. Smooth with back of spoon.
Prepare Sweet Potato, both packs with water, milk
and margerine.
Layer Sweet potato over corn, layered over Beef.
Smooth Sweet Potato over Corn, over Beef and clean edges of pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes and let set before cutting and serving.

I serve with a Green Salad and helps Meal stretch further. Enjoy.

    I added onions to the ground beef mixture. This was very tasty. We love sweet potatoes and that is why I tried this recipe. - 3/31/12

    Great recipe. Quick and easy to prepare. I used lean ground turkey in place of beef. Will try it again! - 1/19/09

    Thank you for trying my recipe for Sweet Potato Shepherd's Pie. My husband is a big eater and burns calories quickly. He's a tough one to satisfy with lighter meals and I found this helps to keep things happy for both of us as a change of pace. Great idea on using the Turkey? Thank You for that idea
