Ingredients

2 lbs lean ground beef, browned & drained
2 cans red kidney bean (10 3/4 oz each)
1 large onion, diced
32 oz tomato sauce
3 cups water
3 Tbsp chili powder
1/2 tsp oregano
Directions
Cook onion and ground beef over medium high heat until meat is browned.
Drain off excess grease.
Add beans and tomato sauce and stir.
Add water and stir.
Add chili powder and oregano and stir.
Simmer for 30-45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Makes 8 1 1/2 cup servings.
