Introduction

A lower fat version for those that can't live without cheesesteaks! A lower fat version for those that can't live without cheesesteaks!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    2 Chinken Breasts
One Red Pepper cut into smaller pieces
    One oinion diced
Low Fat Cheese -I prefer Alpine Lace Low Fat Swiss
    Wheat pita

Directions

Cut and prepare all ingredients.
Cut chicken into small pieces, dice pepper and onions.
Heat oil in a skillet, just enough to coat the pan and wait for oil to heat. Saute onion and red pepper. Add chicken to the skillet - mix with onions and peppers and cook until meat is thoroughly cooked. This should only take 5 minutes or so if you have cut the chicken into small enough pieces. If you are unsure, take out a piece and cut to see if there is any pink inside.

Put cheese on pita and spoon mixture on top of cheese. Salt and pepper are optional. I find there is enough flavor in the pepper and cheese so I forego the spices.

Just saw your post....I meant one piece as in butterflied but two pieces if you are buying the already cut pieces in packages. Hope that helps.
