Introduction
I developed an allergy to sesame seed and sesame oil so I altered my old recipe. Still packs a terrific punch of flavour! I try to keep my snacks around 150 calories or less. Ingredients

1-19 oz can of chickpeas
garlic
parsley, fresh (1 or more Tbsp to taste)
Mint, fresh (1 Tbsp)
lemon juice, freshly squeezed
sea salt
hot pepper sauce, 1/4 tsp. or to taste
olive oil
water
Directions
Makes 10 snack-sized servings.
Remove skin from garlic. Open can of chickpeas and drain fluid. Rinse chickpeas. Squeeze lemon. Add all ingredients, except water, to blender or food processor. Process until coarsely chopped. Add water until desired consistency is achieved. Serve with freshly prepared vegetables or your favourite fresh or toasted pita bread.
