Introduction

Wonderful weekend meal, fix it and forget it all afternoon! Wonderful weekend meal, fix it and forget it all afternoon!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 - 3lb pork loin roast
    1 - 2lb bag or jar of sauerkraut, undrained
    1 - 28oz can petite diced tomatoes
    1/4 cup Splenda Brown sugar blend
    8 - medium turnips, peeled and quartered
    Salt and pepper

Directions

Place sauerkraut at the bottom of a roasting pan that was sprayed w/ non-stick cooking spray.
Pour tomatoes with jiuce on top of sauerkraut, spreading evenly.
Sprinkle with brown sugar
Salt and pepper loin roast and place on top of sauerkraut mixture.
Put in 300 deg oven for 4 hours or until tender
Add turnips durning the last 2 hours of cooking.

    This was ok. I'm not sure I'll make it again. Everything cooked correctly (although I had a 2.3 lb roast and only cooked it for 2.5 hours) but I'm not sure it was exactly my family's taste. - 3/30/11
