Introduction

This glaze tastes just like the Jack Daniels sauce served at TGI Fridays. It is great served on salmon, chicken, shimp, steak...even burgers! This glaze tastes just like the Jack Daniels sauce served at TGI Fridays. It is great served on salmon, chicken, shimp, steak...even burgers!

Ingredients

    2/3 c water
    6 oz. pineapple juice
    1/4 c teriyaki sauce
    1 T soy sauce
    1 1/3 c. brown sugar

    2 tsp. minced garlic
    3 T lemon juice
    3 T minced white onion
    1 T Jack Daniels whiskey
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper

Directions

Combine water, pineapple juice, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce and brown sugar in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce to simmering.

Add remaining ingredients to pan and stir. Let the mixture simmer for 40-50 minutes or until it has reduced by about 1/3. Simmer uncovered at a light boil (medium-low heat).

Mixture will thicken and become syrupy as it cools. Drizzle glaze over your favorite cooked meat, and enjoy. This glaze will keep in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks. Serving size, 2 TBSP.
