Ingredients

    Ingredients:

    2-3 Medium Apples
    Brown Sugar, 1 tbsp packed
    Cinnamon, ground, .5 tsp
    Vanilla Extract, .5 tsp
    Cornstarch, 2 tbsp
    Phyllo Dough, 5 sheet dough
    Butter, unsalted, 1 tbsp


Directions

Core, peel and slice apples, then place them in a saucepan w/ about 1/4 cup of water on medium heat.
Cook w/lid on for about 3-4 minutes, or until done
Remove apples from pan, but leave 1/4 c of water
Add brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla. Cook one minute
Mix cornstarch w/ a little bit of water and add to pan, stir until mixture is thick then remove from heat

Preheat Oven to 375 degrees
Fold one phyllo dough sheet in half lengthwise. Place apple mixture at one end, and fold up into triangle shape. Repeat for remaining dough and apples.
Place pies on cookie sheet and brush lightly w/ melted butter
Bake for 10-15 min (or until browned and crispy)

    Made this yesterday. It was easy to make but I had trouble with doing the triangle shape. Tasted good tho and Hubby liked - 10/26/17
