Brown meat, in large skillet, drain off any fat (rinse with water, and pat with paper towels, to remove as much fat as possible). Add remaining ingredients, simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Top with sliced green onions if desired.

Ingredients

    1 lb. Lean ground beef, or ground lean turkey
    1 tbsp chili powder
    1 can 15 ½ oz. white corn (drained)
    1 can 16 oz. kidney beans (drained)
    1 can 8 oz. tomato sauce
    1 can 14 ½ oz diced tomatoes with garlic and onion
    **optional- 1 can diced green chiles (drained)

Directions

If time permits:
You can use frozen corn or fresh tomatoes, garlic, onions and chile.
