Introduction

A refreshing twist on water for people who hate water A refreshing twist on water for people who hate water
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1/2 cucumber with peel
    1/2 lemon with rind
    8 cups of water

Directions

Pour 8 cups of water into a pitcher
Thinly slice cucumber with peel still on
Slice lemon
Add cucumber and lemon to the water
Chill for about an hour
Enjoy

    I am allergic to citrus fruits so I had to alter the ingredients. I use pineapple chunks in place of the lemon and it really was refreshing. I let my 4 children taste it and they all liked it and even said they would drink it again. This is something I never would have thought of. - 10/9/07

    I have always used lemon in my water now I will enjoy the addition of the cucumber for some extra refreshment - 3/16/09

    find it hard to choke down my 8 cups every day! this was a GREAT twist!
    I have also added ground fresh ginger root for a little kick ~ strain through cheese cloth or coffe filter first.
