Introduction
This sort of pico de gallo uses pepper sauces instead of chopped jalapenos, so the only green in it is from the cilantro. Ingredients

1/4 cup per serving

1 small onion, finely chopped
1 cup very hot water
2 28 oz cans petite diced tomatoes
1/2 cup, packed, finely chopped cilantro
1/4 cup lime juice
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp red pepper sauce (original Tabasco)
2 tsp jalapeno sauce (green Tabasco)
Directions
1---Rinse tomatoes until water runs clear and tomatoes are de-seeded. Drain; dry as much as possible without crushing tomatoes.
2---Chop onion and place in bowl with very hot water (or microwave onion and water for about 2 minutes). Set aside.
3---Chop cilantro finely. Gently stir in tomatoes until thoroughly mixed. Add juice, spices, and sauces and stir in.
4---Drain water from onion. Mix into salsa.
Serve warm, room temperature, or cold. A small or large can of tomato sauce may be added, if desired.
