Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

1 can fat free refried beans
    1 pound lean ground beef
    grated cheddar, monterey, colby cheese
mild salsa/picante sauce (we like Pace)
    1package taco seasoning

Directions

Brown the hamburger, drain if necessary. Mix in taco seasoning and water per package directions. Once the sauce has thickened to the consistency you prefer, add the can of refried beans. Mix thoroughly and let simmer until hot through as as thick as you want it to be. On a warm griddle, briefly warm a tortilla shell, move it to your place. Place approximately 1/4 cup beef and bean mix on the shell, sprinkle with as much cheese as you want (1-2 tsp), and top with 1-2 tablespoons of salsa. Now fold it closed and enjoy.!!
