Ingredients

    500g lean ground beef
    1 medium onion
    1oxo cube
    1tin chopped tomatoes
    4 cups any wholewheat pasta
    small tub low-fat cream cheese
3 good handfuls grated cheese, cheddar and mozarella

Directions

Chop the onion and dry-fry with the beef. Add thetinnedtomatoes & oxo cube, stir well and simmer for 15 minutes or so. You can add garlic, herbs or chilli if liked. In the meantime cook the pasta until it is al dente then drain it and stir the tub of cream cheese in. Marscapone or Philadelphia are best but make sure it's low fat! Put the meatsauce into an ovenproof dish, add the pasta on top then cover with the grated cheese. Bake in a fairly hot oven (190 deg) for about 15-20 minutes until the cheese browns and bubbles.

Serve with steamed veg, or a green salad. Non-dieters may like to have garlic bread with it too!
