Introduction

Same as my other recipe, but with a little more meat Same as my other recipe, but with a little more meat
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    4 al fresca chicken ssg
    4 summer squash
    4oz lite mozz chs
    1/2c tomato sauce

Directions

-preheat oven to 350
-par boil ssg
-chop up ssg and fry in pan with PAM til browned
-cuz squash's in half, long way, and scrape out insides with a spoon
-chop up the insides and add to pan with ssg
-fill the hollowed out squash halves with the ssg/squash mixture
-put 1tbs sauce on each stuffed squash
-bake for 40 min
-add .5oz chs per squash
-bake a few min longer (til cheese melts)

    I'm VERY interested in this recipe!!!! I'm just not sure which squash to use..."summer squash" could mean many varieties. Which squash is the fav and did you precook the squash inorder to scoop it? - 4/6/09

    i use yellow squash and grab the biggest ones i can find (sometimes tough!). hope this helps!!

    i think I will make this. It sounds really good and also very simple and quick which is a plus. I tried it and added mushrooms and onions. I cooked it in the crock pot individually wrapped in foil with a little water added in the bottom. I expect it would be good with salsa as well as tomato sauce. - 3/28/09
