Ingredients

    Stew Beef 1.5 lb
    Onions, 1 cup, chopped
    Garlic, 2 cloves, minced
    Flour, whole grain, 1/4 cup
    Carrots, raw, 5 medium, chopped
    Parsnips, 3 chopped
    Red potatoes with skin, 4 small, quartered
    Parsley, fresh, chopped 1/2 cup
    Tomato Paste, 2 oz.
    Guinness extra stout, 8 oz
    Olive Oil, 1 tbsp (remove)

Directions

Sautee onion and garlic in olive oil. Set aside.

Toss beef with flour and salt and pepper to taste. Brown in pan and add onion and garlic back in.

Add the rest of the ingredients and pour the Guinness extra stout over all. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 - 2 hours, adding water to thin as preferred.

Stir in parsley and simmer until soft, 5-10 minutes.
