Introduction

This is THE most favorite cookie my kids love. I love it because there is no baking and it takes only a short time to make it! You just drop the stove top cooked mixture onto waxed paper and cool! Ingredients

    3 cups of dry Quaker Oats-(cooks in 1min)
    2 cup Sugar
    1/2 cup Evaporated Milk
    1 stick Butter, unsalted
    12 tsp Vanilla Pure Extract

Directions

Get all ingredients out and measured. Lay out a kitchen size towel and cut off a sheet of waxed paper to put on top of that.
Over a medium heat, melt butter then add sugar and evaporated milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a FULL boil. Then time it 2 minutes as you continue stirring. Take off burner and add the vanilla and mix well then add dry oats and mix with a wooden spoon till all oats are fully coated and mixed well.
Immediately drop by slightly heaping, rounded teaspoon onto waxed paper. Cool completely and remove from waxed paper. Makes 2 dozen cookies.
