Ingredients


    Ingredients:
    1 cup (8 ouces) mung bean sprouts
    1 tablespoon soy sauce
    teaspoon sugar{ if you like}
    salt to taste
    1 tablespoon vegetable oil for stir-frying
    few drops of Sesame oil


Directions

serving size : 1 cup of mung beans
Wash and drain the bean sprouts, trimming the ends if desired. Add oil to a wok or heavy skillet. When oil is ready, add the bean sprouts and stir-fry briefly. Add the soy sauce, sugar and salt. Stir-fry another few seconds and add the sesame oil. Serve hot.

    This is a good way to use up all the leftover sprouts (they always sell you more than you need!)! But, it was too salty for me. Next time I will leave out the salt; the soy sauce is salty enough alone!
    Also, the nutrition info says it includes only the sprouts and not the other stuff? Is that tru

    Incredible!
    I never thought of eating bean sprouts for breakfast and it's a great idea. I added some canned mushrooms too, just because I love mushrooms. Great way to get in a couple of veggies in the morning. Thanks for the idea. - 12/18/09
