    2 c flour
    1 tbs baking powder
    3/4 tsp salt
    4 tbs crisco
    1 c skim milk


Mis dry ingredients together. Add shortning and work in with a pastry cutter or with your fingers. Stir in milk just until dry ingredients are incorporated. do not beat or the biscuits will be tough. Drops by large rounded tablespoon onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned. Serves 10- 12.

    Wow! This biscuit was moist and tasted great! Not only that, it has five simple ingredients, which I always have available! I have tried a lot of different biscuit recipes and this one beats all! Took me 10 minutes to prepare and 20 to bake! Tip, use a muffin sheet to bake! - 6/5/12
