Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 sleeve saltine crackers, crumbled
    1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
    1/2 cup celery, chopped
    1/2 cup onion, chopped
    1/2 cup sweet pickle cubes
    3 eggs, boiled and chopped
    1 cup mayonaise
    Bit of sugar (about 1 tablespoon)

Directions

Mix all ingredients together, and chill overnight for the best flavor. (Take from fridge about an hour before serving.)

Serves 6

(I usually double for my family, as they like it so much, and there is never any left over.)

    Now I've heard everything! I can't wait to try this. This recipe must have originated in the south and never made it via wagon train to the West Coast! Sounds wonderful Jean! I will spring it on my family and not tell them what it is. I will use low calorie mayonaise and probably a sugar substitute, - 4/14/09
