Introduction

I raided the pantry and fridge and put it in a pan. This is the resulting meal. The kids really loved it! I raided the pantry and fridge and put it in a pan. This is the resulting meal. The kids really loved it!

Ingredients

    3 oz Foster Farms frozen grillin' chicken strips (cut into bite sized pieces)
    2 C. fresh broccoli chopped
    1/2 small yellow bell pepper chopped
    2 Tbsp chopped onion
    1 clove garlic chopped
    1/4 c. Kraft zesty italian dressing
    1 Tbsp olive oil
    1/4 C. white wine
    1/2 C. Shredded mozzarella cheese
    1/2 package Barilla piccolinin (about 8 oz)

Directions

Cook pasta according to package directions. Throw broccoli into pot for last 3 minutes of cook time. Meanwhile saute bell pepper, garlic and onion in dressing, wine and olive oil. Toss in frozen chicken and cook through. Drain pasta, toss with chicken mixture in a big bowl. Stir in mozzarella cheese and serve.

    Very Good
    It's good and easy! Actually just the recipe I was looking for that used the fresh broccoli I had and fresh vegetables. The dressing gave it good flavor, I added some more seasonings and replaced the chicken with shrimp. Thanks! - 5/31/09
