Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 1/2 cups of small elbow macaroni
    1 cup pf shredded cheddar cheese
    1 cup velveta cubed
    3 tbsp butter
    pepper to taste
    1 1/2 tbsp flour
    1 1/2 cups 1% milk
    1/2 cup saltine crackers crushed

Directions

Cook macaroni till tender. while macaroni is cooking make sauce, melt 2 tbsp butter in sauce pan add flour and pepper to taste cook a minute add milk and bring to a slow boil and cook a few minutes till thickens. Drain macaroni and add sauce to macaroni. Put about 1/2 of mac and cheese into baking dish put 2/3 of cheddar cheese over top put remainder of macaroni over cheese. Melt 1 tbsp of butter is small pan and crackers mix till coated sprinkle over top of mac and cheese. Bake 30-45 minutes till bubbly and golden brown. Let set about 5-10 minutes to set up. This will make 6 servings.
