Ingredients

    1/3 C. Regular oatmeal
    1/2 C. Fiber one bran cereal
    1 C. Onions, diced
    1/2 C. Green pepper, diced
    1/2 C. Red pepper, diced
    1 C. Mushrooms, diced
    1 C. Green beans, diced
    1/4 C. Egg Substitute
    2 tsp. soy sauce
    1/4 tsp. Garlic powder
    Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions

In a blender grind cereal to a breadcrumb like consistency.
Place oats in a small dish. Add 1/3 cup of boiling water. Set aside.
In a medium pan (spray with Pam) sautee veggies for 5 minutes or until soft, stirring frequently. Drain, move to large bowl to cool.
When cool add remaining ingredients. Stir thoroughly to combine. Mix well.
Form into 5 tight balls and place them on a plate, cover and refridgerate for a couple of hours.
Flatten into patties. Spray sauce pan with Pam, cook patties for 5 minutes on each side. Flipping gently so not to break them.

    Better than I expected! I didn't have soy sauce so I used tsp of worcestershire sauce and used a clove of garlic instead of powder. Will make again! - 7/5/10

    Not sure about this. It's sweet because of the Fiber One Bran Ceareal. I added extra seasonings to try to cover the sweet taste. Hmmm... Update.......we LOVED this recipe!!! It's a keeper. - 1/13/10
