Old Fashioned Oats, 1.5 cup
Egg, 1 large
Salt, .25 tsp
Vanilla Extract, .5 tsp
Baking Soda, .5 tsp
Brown Sugar, .5 cup, packed
Granulated Sugar, .25 cup
Applesauce, unsweetened, .75 cup
Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein - chocolate flavor, 60 grams (2 scoops)
Whole Wheat Flour, 0.75 cup
Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened, 2 tbsp
Andes mint baking chips, 4 tbsp
Flaxseed meal, 2 tbsp
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Beat applesauce and sugars until creamy.
3. Add eggs and vanilla extract; beat well.
4. Combine flour, cocoa powder, whey powder, flaxseed meal, baking soda, and salt in separate bowl. Then add to wet mixture.
5. Stir in oats and chocolate, mix well.
6. Drop dough onto ungreased cookie sheets in heaping tablespoons.
7. Bake 10-12 minutes, until cookies are almost set. Do not overbake.
8. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet, then move to wire racks.
Makes 24 cookies.
