I like this recipe and use the Daiya non-dairy cheese that melts. I still like to give it a little crust by broiling the chicken shortly after being baked. - 5/27/16

This looks great, but has anyone tried making it without pre-cooking the asparagus? I'm concerned that putting cooked asparagus in the oven for 30-35 mins will make it overcooked and mushy by the time the chicken is done. - 5/27/16

Presentation is everything to me. Having said that, I have never seen a more un-appetizing recipe pic.I will not be making this recipe.

  • This is one of the best things I've ever made. Definitely "company food" as my husband calls it! Awesome! Try adding 1 slice of prosciutto to the center and roll (70 cals more). - 2/22/12

  • Great recipe--I modified it since it's spring--I put it on the grill and basted it with basalmic vinegarette as it cooked. It was great! - 4/12/10

  • This is a keeper! I used pepper jack cheese and Mrs. Dash Garlic and Herb with my recipe and it was great! Next time I may put half the cheese around the asparagus and half on top of the chicken. Great! - 3/13/09

  • I found this recipe to be so easy to make when my child is so hungry she is fussy and I don't have a clue what she is hungry for. We both love the ease of prep work and the flavors mix up so nicely. It is a great wintry style meal that is not overfilling. - 11/20/08

  • This was very good. Using a large chicken breast, I was able to get two meals out of it. Paired with a green salad, was just perfect! The cheese melted but there was plenty inside! - 4/9/08
