Ingredients
-
* Low Fat Cream of Mushroom Soup, 2 cans
* Milk, 1%, 1.5 cup
* Tuna, Canned in Water, 1 can (12.5 oz), drained
* Onions, raw, 0.5 medium (2-1/2" dia)
* Oregano, ground, 1 tsp
* Parsley, dried, 1 tsp
* Pepper, black, 1 tsp
* Monterey Jack Cheese shredded, 1 cup
* Macaroni (dry weight), 450 g (16 oz)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350F.
Mix soup, milk, spices, ~1/2 of the chopped onion (reserve some for topping), and grated cheese until well mixed. Add cooked macaroni (I usually use egg noodles but didn't have them on hand today).
Put in large casserole and bake for ~30 minutes (until cheese is melted and bubbly).
Top with "Casserole Topping" (separate recipe) and broil 5 minutes until toasted on top.
Serve with chopped onions and a side of steamed broccoli. Makes 8 servings (approx 4x4x2 inches)
