Introduction

A Very Healthy Low Calorie Alternative. These Muffins taste wonderful and they are easy to make. A Very Healthy Low Calorie Alternative. These Muffins taste wonderful and they are easy to make.
Number of Servings: 15

Ingredients

    1/4 c ground flax seed (meal)
    2 1/4 c oat bran
    1 T baking powder
    1/4 c chopped walnuts
    1/4 c brown sugar
    2 over-ripe bananas mashed
    2 egg whites
    2 T canola oil
    1 1/4 c nonfat milk
    1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Yields 15 Muffins
Bake in pre-heated oven set at 425 degrees

Add mashed bananas to dry ingredients.
Mix in wet ingredients.
Spray muffin tins with cooking oil spray.
Fill muffin cup almost full.

1 shredded apple can be added but the nutrition information here does not include the apple.

Bake 15 minutes. Do not over bake.

These muffins taste great with a little fat free cream cheese spread on top.
