Ingredients

    1 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    1 Cup Onions, raw, chopped
    1 Tbsp. Cumin seed (I use cumin powder)
    3 Tbsp. Chili powder
    1 tsp. Pepper, black,
    1 Tbsp Onion powder
    1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
    8 oz ground beef, lean
    2 Cup (1 Can) Stewed Tomatoes, No salt
    1 Cup Red Kidney Beans

Directions

1. In a skillet put extra virgin olive oil and onions; cook for 5 minutes until onion is tender.

2. Add Cumin seed (I use cumin powder), 1 Tbsp. of Chilli powder (reserve 2 Tbsp. for later), black pepper, onion powder and garlic powder. Stir to mix.

3. Add ground beef and cook until brown.

4. Add stewed tomatoes, red kidney beans and remaining 2 Tbsp. of Chilli powder. Cover and cook for 25 minutes (Medium temp.).

Serving Suggestion: Serve with reduced fat sour cream and corn chips (Calories not listed)
